Just a reminder that the postmark deadline for The American Prize in Piano Performance has been extended to Friday, December 31, 2010 in both the solo piano and concerto divisions, to provide opportunities to the largest number of applicants from throughout the U.S. There is no need to apply for an extension. Simply be sure the application is postmarked by the new date.
The competition also recently revised requirements in the solo piano division, eliminating the Beethoven/Mozart/Haydn sonata provision. For application forms and complete rules, please visit The American Prize. Although the deadline on the website and on the printed application form has not been changed, please be assured that all contestants who apply by the new postmark deadline date will be accepted.
Information about the announcement of semi-finalists in the vocal competitions is below.
