The American Prize is pleased to announce FINALIST choruses for 2016-17. Congratulations! To know the exact date when winners and runners-up will be announced, please like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter #AmericanPrize, where that information will be published first.

"An exceptional competition featuring wonderful choral ensembles from across the U.S.—a privilege to listen..."

If your ensemble is not a finalist this year, please remember that the contests are not yet over. The American Prize reserves the right to award Honorable Mentions and Citations for Special Achievement to any contestant, regardless of final placement.

  1. So thrilled to be honored as a finalist by the American Prize for choral performance in the college/university division! This prize organization has expanded and the outreach is enormous. Thank you David Katz! (One little request: could someone remove the "m" in Mansfield University Co(m)ncert Choir. :-)

  2. Very exciting and pleased to be in such an esteemed company of choirs! Congratulations to all listed! One small note--the name of our university is "Concordia University, St. Paul" and the choir is "Christus Chorus"
