The American Prize is delighted to announce SEMI-FINALIST piano concerto soloists for 2018-19, The Lorin Hollander Award. Congratulations! (Be sure to check all divisions. The American Prize may have moved an audition to a more appropriate category.) As the contests unfold, finalists, runners-up and winners will be selected from these lists. The American Prize LORIN HOLLANDER AWARD celebrates the artistry of one of the greatest pianists of his generation. Lorin Hollander has appeared as guest soloist with virtually every major symphony orchestra in the world and is a veteran of over 2,500 performances across the globe. The American Prize is delighted to share the legacy of this legendary artist through the re-naming of the award for Piano Concerto Performance in his honor.
