Composer FINALISTS in remaining categories will be announced next; we are also anticipating the first WINNER announcements of 2021, starting in May. 

The office is also gearing up for “AMERICAN VOICES” our first free online concert, featuring The American Prize winning mezzo-soprano, MADISON MARIE MCINTOSH, and pianist GREGORY RITCHEY, Friday, May 7, 2021 at 7pm (EDT). The concert will include premieres of works by composers Theodore CHRISTMAN, Antonio COVELLO, Ted GANGER, Michael POLO, Kevin SCOTT, Amy SCURRIA, Myron SILBERSTEIN and Webster YOUNG, hosted by CHRISTMAN OPERA.

1. The American Prize WEBSITE has been updated for the 2021-22 contest season, with extensions available by email request.

2. Look for a new edition of “What’s on TAP,” our e-newsletter, coming later this week, to include complete SEMI-FINALIST links for 2021 and those FINALIST categories already announced.
